In 2022 Your Own Place won the Impact in Social Enterprise award. This was a fantastic recognition of our commitment to developing our Managing Impact Strategy alongside working with people according to our values. Your Own Place, as a social enterprise, invests 100% of profits back into the business and into our Advisory Board – a ground breaking group of individuals with lived experience who generously offer their time and insights into our services to make us a better organisation. Alongside our day-to-day services, supporting YOPAB and our community, we invest and add value for all our partners. Whether it’s;
- decreasing our carbon footprint
- volunteering as mentors in local schools
- paying the Living Wage, including throughout our supply chain
- buying socially for our goods and services
- supporting FUSE Norwich CIC and the social enterprise community
