Rebecca White
CEO
Rebecca White is the CEO and Founder of Your Own Place CIC. As a qualified secondary school teacher with years of experience working with people from all backgrounds as well as commissioners, politicians, business people and leaders, Rebecca exemplifies the successful combination of operational, strategic and business experience. What really drives Rebecca is social inequality. By the roll of a dice a person’s life chances are dramatically altered. Homelessness is just one manifestation of this and until people have equality of opportunity Rebecca will work tirelessly to champion people facing disadvantage not of their own making.
Rebecca volunteers as a mentor for HMP Warren Hill and as an Enterprise Adviser with The Locksley School.

Jessica Luce-Rackham
Operational Manager
Jess has previous experience leading on safeguarding and student wellbeing at a further education training provider.
She coordinated the employment project at Your Own Place, where she provided bespoke 1-2-1 support and facilitated group employment workshops.
During her career, Jess has used her counselling skills and employability knowledge to work with people and support them towards their goals.
She is now rejoining the team at Your Own Place as Operational Manager.
Jess volunteers at Norwich International Youth Project.

Jarrod Ewles
TILS+ Trainer
Jarrod joined us in July 2017. Jarrod delivers group TILS+ and 1-2-1 TILS. He is a deeply passionate and empathic facilitator who brings energy and compassion to Your Own Place.

Simone Black
Mentoring Trainer
Simone is a Volunteer Mentoring Trainer and is excited to be part of a growing organisation which prevents homelessness. She will be continuing her work to reduce the stigma faced by many marginalised groups. She has previously trained professionals in eating disorders, drugs, alcohol and homelessness. She has focussed on helping people with often very complex issues.

Hannah Carty
Administrator
Hannah joined the team in February 2019 as the YOP Administrator. Hannah is dedicated in supporting organisations which work to tackle social inequality and has worked within large and smaller third sector organisations for 14 years. Hannah has training in communication design and likes to bring her creativity into her work.

Tom Sellers
Mentoring & Engagement Worker
Tom joined Your Own Place in June 2019. Tom has a wealth of experience with Norfolk Young Carer and is excited to bring #YouthVoice to Your Own Place through his work with YOPAB as well as bring more trained mentors and mentees together.

Jessica Marsh
Tenancy & Independent Living Skills Plus (TILS++) Trainer
We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to out team at the end of 2019. Jessica has previously been a dedicated employee at a large chain and worked with teams to open their new stores. Ensuring the high quality of the brand, managing trainers and following regulations, we are excited to add Jessica’s training credentials to the YOP Team.
