Your Own Place is an award-winning social enterprise delivering Money, Housing, Tenancy and Cost of Living support to prevent homelessness.
Move On, Train the Trainer and Other Services
Everything Your Own Place does starts with values, relationships, quality, impact and trust. We know that our particular values and approaches work.
Through our approaches we can deliver Move-On Workshops and 1-2-1 support, Train the Trainer using our relationships first approach for colleagues in housing associations, the third sector and local authorities as well as run Tenant Voice and Participation groups. In schools our Money Management Skills and Employability workshops adapt well into the classroom.
Our restorative, participative, coaching and asset-based delivery ultimately helps people improve their skills and confidence, regardless of the intervention being delivered.

Train the Trainer
Want to have better relationships and engagement with your tenants, residents and those you support? There is now the opportunity to embed the Your Own Place approaches and knowledge in your organisation.
For colleagues in housing authorities, housing associations and the third sector, this is a unique opportunity to deliver your own high quality 1-2-1 bespoke tenancy and money skills support with a set of practical tools, plans and approaches your trainees will always want to engage with.
Move On
If you’re a local authority, a charity, in criminal justice or providing supported accommodation, and are tired of seeing people come back through the revolving door, we want to work with you. Through partnership planning and time to get to know your service, your staff will leave with a comprehensive toolkit to be able to support and engage with those they support, effectively.
Many tenancies avoidably break down shortly after people move on from temporary or supported accommodation. We deliver a bespoke programme of 1-2-1 sessions to prevent this. We start the relationship in the lead up to moving on, and for up to six months after move-on.
Your Own Place is filling this gap by working with those at a crucial time and who are most at risk to help them sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

Tenant Voice & Participation
If you’re trying to hear the voices and views of more of your tenants as part of your social housing regulations, rolling out the Tenant Satisfaction Measures or because you want to improve your service, then we can help.
Tenants being heard and supported is more important than ever. This goes to the heart of customers getting the service to which they are entitled.
With an award-winning approach to our delivery, rooted in equity, empathy, empowerment and always informed by lived experience, this is a great fit for us. Whether it’s wider tenant and community engagement, tenant scrutiny or gathering information and insight, our inclusive and creative Pinpoint facilitation methodology works in any room to ensure all voices are heard.
As an independent third party, we capture and amplify tenant voices, evaluate and review progress, engage more tenants, deliver focus groups, feed back to you, deliver reports for your governance structures and support you to understand, embed, communicate and make service changes. Through building trusting relationships we facilitate the mutually beneficial cycle of service improvement.
