Your Own Place is an award-winning social enterprise delivering Money, Housing, Tenancy and Cost of Living support to prevent homelessness.
Your Own Place has built a stellar reputation for its delivery of Train the Trainer workshops. With a proven track record of developing housing colleagues to become confident and empathic trainers in their own right, our workshops are designed to provide money, housing and tenancy knowledge, practical training skills, and engagement techniques that inspire confidence in supporting your tenants.
Join us at Your Own Place and experience the transformative power of some of our Train the Trainer workshop content firsthand for you to use across your service.
We are scheduling a package of four workshops four times a year. They will provide you and your colleagues with engagement strategies, space to explore values and their impact on the work we do, simple budgeting strategies to use with the people you support, and ways to build confidence in the people you support.
Who should attend:
These workshops are suitable for anyone wanting to improve their engagement toolbox. You will be supporting people to live independently or preparing to live independently, in managing their money and their tenancy and wanting the knowledge to deliver award-winning content.
These workshops are for professionals working in housing, supported housing and/or the voluntary sector.
