Schools, Employability and Money Management Skills
- Schools Employability workshops – focussing on overcoming intrinsic and extrinsic barriers using coaching techniques as well as building relationships and networks
- Schools Money Management Skills workshops – using our signature facilitation to bring relevant and fun Money Skills to the classroom environment
- Employability workshops – too many employability interventions focus only on CVs or securing work. At Your Own Place we create 1-2-1 and group workshops that explore the importance of relationships, champion the aspirations for career sustainment as well as progression
Pupils in schools tell us after our Employability workshops that they hadn’t before realised the importance of building networks and communication
Pupils tell us that they learnt about the importance of resilience and the power of being positive about the future.
In Child E’s special educational needs review meeting today, his mother commented on just how happy Child E is after the workshop days with you. He said it was the best part of his week and he will really miss seeing you.
Sewell Park Academy students who have taken part in the mentoring programme really value the importance of the sessions.
One particular student in regularly speaks to me when leaving school and says that it is the part of the week that they look forward to most, each morning the student asks ‘is it my mentoring session today?’.
