Community Voices Network

Your Own Place exists to prevent homelessness and reduce poverty by building financial resilience, confidence and community connection.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery, Your Own Place has been funded to facilitate Your Own Place has been awarded National Lottery Funding to establish and facilitate a network of community voices across Norfolk.

This project, ‘Community Voices Network’, aims to facilitate community connection, support confidence, and ensure that services are designed with the people they serve.

What is “Community Voices Network”?

Your Voice. Your Community. Your Choice.

Community Voices Network is a project to establish a network that both influences and creates change within the communities of Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Thetford. The project aims to:

To bring people together to share their voice and make connections
To improve and make changes at Your Own Place based on lived experience perspectives
To explore and agree what happens next. This could be broadening our aims to make an impact in the wider community and will be led by the network.

We are currently inviting people to share how they would like to come together – in person, online – and what they would like to explore.

Where is the network based?

As participants based in Norwich, Thetford and Great Yarmouth can get involved in the network, meetings will take place in local, accessible spaces, or online.
